The brief
Transform an existing hardware wallet prototype into a premium product for a limited production run. The scope combined a redesigned enclosure with the integration of an expansion board, a rechargeable battery and a smart card slot.
The challenge
Retain the architecture of the original prototype while improving its look, feel and assembly. The enclosure had to accommodate the electronics precisely and remain feasible to manufacture in small quantities.

Material and finish
CNC-machined aluminum, bead blasting and hard anodizing give the enclosure a satin feel and a durable, deep color.
Every component in place
A custom expansion board fits alongside the mainboard, rechargeable battery and smart card interface within the compact housing.

The outcome
From design to a working device.
The project reached a limited production run in several colors. The enclosure brought a more refined finish to the original prototype, while the expansion board also became a separately produced component.
